Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an British actress and producer. Suranne Jones, an actor and producer from the UK. Her fame was gained through her role as Ruth Slater, the detective in a procedural police drama 'Scott & Bailey', in addition to Gemma Foster, the GP in a medical drama 'Doctor Foster.' Jones is a Greater Manchester native who joined Oldham Theatre Workshop to receive her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. in a stage production of Wait Until Dark, she appeared as Gloria aged eight. In 1997 she made her acting debut on screen in a 'Coronation Street episode'. She returned in 2000 in the soap to play Karen McDonald. When she quit the ITV soap She was cast in a number of TV shows like 'Vincent' "Strictly a Confidential," and "Harley Street.". On the big screen she's been in movies like "Love and A Long Shot", 'Broken hearts' as well as 'A Christmas Star'.
